Preliminary Exercise - What We've Learned

What we did:

• First we found a suitable place to begin filming.
• We then filmed both of the actors at once singing the duet.
• Then we filmed the actors individually singing the song.
• After attaining all of the footage we needed we began editing.
• While editing we used the toggle clip overlay tool to arrange the clips we had in the right order.

What we have learned:

• While being briefed on what to do we got an insight on all the things we are required to film such as, all the shots we need and how long they need to be.

• The most important thing I have learned was how to edit the music video and make the video and song become in sync.

• Also we took our surroundings into account, for example me made sure no one appeared in the background, checked the weather to make sure its suitable for shooting and also the lighting .

• Another point we learned we had to consider was how serious people need to be to make the video look good.
